Do I need to choose all my finishes in one appointment?
No. You don’t have to make final decisions during your consultation. You’ll receive expert guidance and a clear direction so you can confidently make selections at your own pace—or return for another session if needed.
What if I need help choosing paint colors or creating a cohesive color palette?
That’s one of our specialties. We’ll help you build a palette that works with your fixed elements and reflects your personal taste—whether you’re updating one room or your whole home.
Will you provide me with resources of where to go to look at things?
Yes! We have a list of build vendors and resources that we will share with you.
Will you provide drawings or mood boards after the consultation?
DesignBAR is a verbal consulting service, so we don’t deliver formal drawings or renderings. However, you’re welcome to take notes, record the session, and snap pictures of any concepts or samples we explore together.
What if I’m not sure about my style or vision?
No problem. One of the best parts of DesignBAR is helping you discover your aesthetic. We’ll ask the right questions, decode your inspiration images, and translate your ideas into a tangible, cohesive plan.
Can I use this consult to get lighting advice or a full lighting plan?
Yes, we’ll help you evaluate your lighting needs and suggest fixture styles, placement ideas, and finish recommendations. For full lighting layouts, additional consultation time or services may be needed.
